So, if your everyday makeup look is natural, we wouldn’t suggest shying too far away from that.
We want you to feel like the best version of YOU!
Think of it like enhancing your features, not changing them.
So how do we create the makeup look for a wedding
First, have inspirational photos? Send them over!
- Look at photos with your same hair color, or a similar color.
- Look at photos of hair with similar length as you, remember, most photos have been photoshopped and might have hair extensions making the hair thicker and longer.
- If you have any hair accessories or a veil, bring those with you to your trial so we can play with them.
- For makeup, look up ideas for weddings in the same season as your wedding (for example, if your wedding is in the fall, lots of brides like to use a maroon lip colors).
- Save a few different makeup looks that speak to you. Maybe you like the eyes in one photo, and the lip color in another, so save em’ both!
Communication
Next, when it comes to your trial day, be open and willing to communicate freely with us.
One of the only things you have left after your wedding is your wedding photos.
If you aren’t happy with your hair and makeup, you won’t be happy with your photos.
It’s a blessing to be part of your special day, so we want to make your bridal vision come true!

After your trial
We always ask our brides to take lots of photos after your trial.
Try taking photos both indoor and outdoor on the front and back camera of your phone.
You can also take photos with your photographer to see how the makeup shows on camera.
We want to make sure you love your hair and makeup both on and off-camera. See something you want to change?
