Okay miss bride-to-be, if you’re thinking about getting married at The Peach Orchard… do it. Seriously. We’ve had the chance to get our glam on at this venue several times now, and every single time it’s pure magic. From the big open spaces to the gorgeous natural light—it’s just chef’s kiss perfect for a wedding day.

One of my favorite parts? The bridal suite. Girl, it’s not just cute—it’s functional. We’re talking full-length mirrors, tons of space to spread out, a hair washing station (yes, really), and actual room for a full bridal party to get ready without stepping on each other’s dresses. You don’t even have to leave the venue to get ready. It’s a total win all around.

Glam Time in the Dreamy Bridal Suite

Let’s start with the getting ready space, because it’s a major moment. With so much natural light and elegant white walls, everything feels clean, peaceful, and perfect for those first photos of the day.

We’ve glammed up quite a few brides and bridal parties here, and it always feels like we’re in our own little glam bubble of calm. The shampoo bowl in the bridal suite – which honestly I haven’t seen in any other venue – is such a win! So, I have to say, thank you for that! You don’t know how important that little detail is until you need it!

Oh and the multiple cozy beauty chairs in front of their own table and vanity with a pop up plug? UGH! Dreamy is an understatement! Getting ready here is such a treat!

Classic, Romantic Bridal Looks for a Fairytale spot

The Peach Orchard’s chapel and gardens give straight-up fairy tale vibes, so we love playing up soft, timeless glam that fits the romantic feel of the venue. Whether it’s a classic low bun or glowing, skin-focused makeup, it all looks extra stunning when paired with that dreamy backdrop.

We’re not exaggerating when we say the lighting in the bridal suite is a makeup artist’s dream. So, here’s the deal—this bride was killing it with two completely different vibes, and honestly, it’s one of our favorite things to do: start soft and sweet, then completely switch it up to sultry and sexy. We started with a gorgeous, natural makeup look that was all about glowing skin, soft peachy tones, and a nude lip that made her look like she had just stepped out of a bridal dream. Her hair? Smooth, sexy waves that flowed effortlessly and added that “I woke up like this” touch. It was the perfect vibe for a romantic, relaxed ceremony—fresh, glowing, and super chic.

But wait, the fun part came when we switched gears for the reception look. We turned that look from soft to smokin’! We went bold with a sultry smokey eye that had just the right amount of drama, and then we swapped her soft waves for a romantic updo that was totally romantic.

The change was POPPIN.

The Lehenga Magic

Out with the old, and in with the new – for the reception, our bride slays in a textured cream lehenga that’s basically a fashion editorial waiting to happen. Heavy, fabulous, and downright extra – it’s the kind of lehenga dreams are made of.

Reception Makeup Look

We turned up the heat with eyeshadows that redefine sultry, paired with an intense liner – the kind that makes her eyes the main event. But that’s not the end of our bold journey. A dash of deeper blush, a luscious red lip, and voilà – bold, beautiful, and unequivocally fabulous. The vibe? Think sexy, think modern, think reception goals.

Hair Enchantment

The curtain rises on a hair transformation that’s straight out of a fairytale. Those once cascading curls take a detour to a romantic wispy updo, adding an air of whimsy fit for a fairytale bride. The Oak Atelier has all the natural light you could want for a beautiful day-time micro wedding.

It poured rain on the day of our photo shoot, but that didn’t stop us from getting some gorgeous bridal photos.

Vintage Bridal Hair

We had to show off our bride’s beautiful off-the-shoulder dress, so we went with a romantic updo with lots of wispy pieces and tendrils.

The floral hair accessory made by Tin Cup Flower Co was just what we needed to add a unique touch and to secure the veil into the hair.

Natural Skin-Like Makeup

Megan has gorgeous freckles we couldn’t wait for her to show off at the alter. The makeup look was kept soft and natural paired with a mauve lip stain and a peachy blush.

Micro Wedding Recption

For the second half of this styled shoot, this charming set up is moved indoors for a reception dinner fit for a party of 8.

The mauve, yellow and peach tones are giving us romantic, whimsical feelings.

Although choosing the right dress for an event is important, finding the right hairstyle to go with it can be challenging.

Whether the event in question is your wedding, prom, birthday, or something else entirely, there are some questions you should ask yourself before you choose your hairstyle.

What is the Neckline of Your Dress Like?

Take into consideration what you are wearing. The neckline of your dress can help you decide which hairstyle will work the best.

When it comes to strapless dresses, wearing your hair down or half up are great options.

As your shoulders and décolletage are exposed, wearing your hair down will add some movement and dimension to your outfit.

On the other hand, if your dress has a higher neckline an updo may be a better choice.

What is Your Personal Go-To Hairstyle?

Think about what you are comfortable wearing. Also, consider what you want to achieve at the event. If you want to wear something outside the box, do the hairstyle opposite of what you are wearing in your day-to-day life.

On the other hand, if you want to feel comfortable during the event going for your usual hairstyle, but elevated is a good choice. This principle especially applies to weddings, as you want to feel like yourself on your big day.

Consider External Factors

Although the first two questions are the most important, you should also take external factors such as weather into account.

If you expect it to be very hot and humid, an updo is going to be your best friend.

Also, think about the activities.

Is there going to be a lot of dancing?

Will you be walking a lot?

All of these elements should influence your final decision.

A Day to Night Look at Hotel Granduca

We took our bride’s hair and makeup from fresh to fabulous for this day-to-night styled shoot.

This shoot is perfect inspiration for brides that want to do 2 different hair and makeup looks on her wedding day.

Hotel Granduca was the perfect choice for an intimate moody wedding. The natural light and character of the building really added to the entire wedding aesthetic.

Want to know an awesome benefit of having your wedding at a hotel? Being able to go up to your room to change, switch up your look and freshen up!

Day Time Bridal Hair and makeup

For the day time wedding events, we decided to do a soft, blushing, fresh makeup look with effortless big waves.

The soft pinky-nude lip color ties in perfectly with our bride’s gorgeous earrings.

Adding nude eyeliner in the waterline was a great way to make her eyes look brighter and bigger.

Day Time Gathering

There is tons of natural light in the Granduca lunch room, great for picture taking and feeling the freshness of the daylight.

The lunch time set up was doused with blushes, pinks and rose gold table accents and florals.

Night Time

The sun is starting to go down, which means it’s time to take this bride’s hair and makeup up a notch.

We pulled her hair up into a classy pony, utilizing the curls we added for the events earlier in the day.

Ponytails are a great option if you don’t want your hair sticking to your neck, or if you just get annoyed having your hair down all day and night, it’s like that sometimes!

For makeup we added slightly bolder lashes, added a smokey liner and a bit of black & dark brown eyeshadow to make the eyes give off a more sultry and sexy vibe.

Our bride’s jewelry and flowers for the night were red so we had to go with a bold red lip!

Did I mention her 2nd dress for her wedding is a black dress? Ugh it’s to die for if you’re on the hunt for a non-traditional wedding dress.

This hair and makeup adjustment took about 30 minutes, then she got into her black dress and headed downstairs for the reception.

A Romantic Reception

Nothing says romantic like being surrounded by red roses, candles and your loved ones.

To end the night, the reception was set up into a more cozy room where there is more privacy and you have access to a lounging area, perfect for an intimate reception!
