I know, it sounds terrifying getting in your lingerie or your birthday suit in front of a photographer, but if you work with the right photographer, it’s actually lots of fun and tasteful!
Getting your hair and makeup done is also a great way to feel extra confident! I personally love working with women photographers for boudoir, they know just the right angles and see things men might not see (like that necklace clasp or a flipped piece of fabric).

Bring your personal style to the shoot, maybe you want to wear his favorite shirt or jersey, I’ve even had a bride even bring a tire with her since her man is so into cars! Have fun with it!

Okay, let’s talk about how to actually go do the shoot without your love knowing so it stays a surprise.
I’ve heard it all, some would tell their significant other they were going to the spa, to mom’s house, to the grocery store, anything really!
Just keep in mind, you might leave with no makeup on and your hair not done, then you come back home with what seems like a full make-over, so either wipe it off before you get home or be ready for the questions, try not to spoil the surprise!
